Elect Jay McConville

The 44th House District includes Mount Vernon and nearby communities in southeastern Fairfax County, south of the Beltway and east of Rte. 1. This is now an open seat in 2009, after Del. Kris Amundson unexpectedly dropped out of the race in late June. Republican Jay McConville is running for the seat.
