Virginia is a battleground state, the polls are close, and every vote is critically important. We are committed to gaining the highest possible vote for McCain in all areas of the 11th District -- from Republicans, from Independents, and from dissatisfied Democrats. And we're going to do our part to make sure that McCain carries Virginia this November!

Get involved locally
- Phone bank: Spend a few hours at a McCain volunteer center (in Crystal City or Fairfax City) to call voters. (See location information, below.)
- Watch party: Attend a local debate watch party for the televised Presidential and Vice Presidential debates on Sep. 26, Oct. 2, Oct. 7 and Oct. 15. Check our events calendar for details.
- Show your support: Display a McCain-Palin sign in your yard, or a bumper sticker on your car. Contact your local Republican committee or stop by a GOP campaign office.
- Spread the word: Contact friends and neighbors, and ask them to join you in voting McCain this year. The McCain campaign has an online web form for you. You can also download and print issue summaries to help persuade undecided voters.
- Election Day: Help us greet voters on Nov. 4 at polling places in Reston, with information on the GOP ticket and our local party. Use our volunteer form..
- Contribute: Support the national campaign through the McCain-Palin Victory Fund. Please help our local efforts as well, with a contribution to the 11th District Committee or your local Republican committee.

Winning the nomination
John McCain won a convincing victory in the Virginia Republican Presidential primary on Feb. 12, with half the vote statewide and more than 60% here in the 11th District. He clinched the GOP nomination in March, and was formally nominated at the National Convention in early September.
