Greetings, fellow Republicans!
Thanks for visiting us online. We're proud to be part of the Republican team here in Northern Virginia. Join us to elect more Republicans in 2010 and beyond.
Fimian wins primary for Congress
Please help us elect Keith Fimian to Congress from the 11th District. He and Pat Herrity competed for the GOP nomination in the June 8 primary, and more than 35,000 Republican voters participated. Fimian will take on big-spending Democrat Gerry Connolly this November.
GOP unity dinner: Join us on Friday, June 25, for a unity dinner to support Keith's campaign, with special guest Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling. (See dinner details.)
The 11th Congressional District includes Fairfax City and much of Fairfax County and Prince William County. Check the 11th District map and precinct list.
Our District Committee assists candidates and local Republican committees in all three units. We also represent Republicans from our district on the State Central Committee. Find out more about the District Committee.
Thanks for making Virginia go RED in 2009!
Hundreds of local volunteers helped our candidates acheive great success in 2009. Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling and Ken Cuccinelli all won the 11th District, and they went on to landslide victories across the state. We also elected four new Republican Delegates from Northern Virginia. Thanks to everyone who helped our GOP ticket!

Landslide! McDonnell, Bolling, Cuccinelli in sweep
Virginia voters elected Republicans to the top three state offices on Nov. 3 by wide margins - the largest GOP win since 1993. Bob McDonnell was elected Governor, with a decisive 59-41 victory over Democrat Creigh Deeds. Voters also re-elected Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling over Jody Wagner, and chose Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General over Steve Shannon.

Mullins elected to chair Va. GOP
Congratulations to Pat Mullins, who was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia in May 2009 by the party's State Central Committee, and then re-elected by the GOP State Convention. Mullins was Fairfax County GOP Chairman in the early 1990's. See more in statewide news.
Cook wins in Braddock
Republican John Cook won a narrow victory in the Mar. 2009 special election for Braddock District Supervisor. Cook's election gives the Republicans three votes on the Fairfax Board of Supervisors. See more on the special election in Braddock.
Herrity, Hunt, Bolognese come close in Fairfax
Republicans came within 1% of winning three more special elections in Fairfax County. In Feb. 2009, GOP candidate Pat Herrity narrowly lost the special election for Chairman of the Board of Supervisors (see news coverage). Herrity continues to serve as District Supervisor from Springfield. In early 2010, Republicans Steve Hunt and Kerry Bolognese narrowly lost special elections for State Senate (37th District) and State Delegate (41st Dist.) See news of the 2010 special elections.
Salute to Tom Davis
Thanks to all who participated in our Salute to Tom Davis in Sep. 2008 in Tysons Corner. We greatly appreciate Tom's years of outstanding service to Northern Virginia and in helping to build the Republican party at all levels. See more on the Salute to Tom Davis.

| IN MEMORIAM |
We sadly note the passing of Del. Harry Parrish of Manassas, chairman of the House Finance Committee, in March 2006. His lifelong commitment to public service will remain as an inspiration to us all. See news article.
We join thousands in remembering Jack Herrity, former Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and longtime Republican activist, who passed away in February 2006. His dedication to community, zest for life and wise counsel will be missed by all who knew him. See notice, editorial and news article.
