Greetings, fellow Republicans!
Thanks for visiting us online. We're proud to be part of the Republican team here in Northern Virginia.
The 11th Congressional District includes parts of Fairfax County and Prince William County, and all of Fairfax City. Check the 11th District map and precinct list.
Our District Committee assists candidates and local Republican committees in all three units. We also represent Republicans from our district on the State Central Committee. Find out more about the District Committee.
Help us turn Virginia RED again in 2009!
Join us to elect Bob McDonnell as Governor, re-elect Bill Bolling as Lt. Governor, to elect Ken Cuccinelli as Attorney General, and to retain GOP control in the House of Delegates. Get involved in the statewide campaigns and the State House campaigns in Northern Virginia.
2009 ticket: McDonnell, Bolling, Cuccinelli
Virginia Republicans nominated Bob McDonnell for Governor at the GOP State Convention on May 30. In contested races, the convention nominated Bill Bolling for a second term as Lt. Governor, and Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General. See more on the GOP state campaigns in 2009 and campaign news coverage.
Mullins elected to chair Va. GOP
Congratulations to Pat Mullins, who was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Virginia on May 2 by the party's State Central Committee, and then re-elected on May 30 by the GOP State Convention. He succeeds Jeff Frederick, who was removed in early April. Mullins was Fairfax County GOP Chairman in the early 1990's. See more in statewide news.
Cook wins in Braddock
Republican John Cook won a narrow victory in the Mar. 10 special election for Braddock District Supervisor. The counting of votes was completed on Mar. 11. See more on the special election.
Herrity comes close in Fairfax
GOP candidate Pat Herrity lost by just 1% in the special election for Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors on Feb. 3. Herrity continues to serve as District Supervisor from Springfield.
See more on the special election.
Thanks to our 2008 team
We thank all our outstanding candidates from 2008 -- Sen. John McCain, Gov. Sarah Palin, former Gov. Jim Gilmore and Keith Fimian -- for their hard-fought campaigns. McCain and Palin drew big crowds at campaign rallies in Northern Va. Thanks also to our wonderful volunteers in Fairfax and Prince William.
See more on Campaign 2008.
Salute to Tom Davis
Thanks to all who participated in our Salute to Tom Davis in Sep. 2008 in Tysons Corner. We greatly appreciate Tom's years of outstanding service to Northern Virginia and in helping to build the Republican party at all levels. See more on the Salute to Tom Davis.

We appreciate the volunteer support provided by Republicans throughout the 11th district on behalf of our GOP candidates in recent years (see previous campaigns). We look forward to expanding our volunteer base in 2008 and beyond.
For upcoming Republican activities in and around the 11th District, check our calendar of events. And to stay connected, our expanded list of GOP links gives you quick access to Republican committees, campaigns, affiliate groups and public officials throughout the area.
Join us in building and strengthening our Republican Party in Northern Virginia. We welcome your support, your ideas, and your energy. If you have questions or comments, please don't hesitate to contact us.

| IN MEMORIAM |
We sadly note the passing of Del. Harry Parrish of Manassas, chairman of the House Finance Committee, in March 2006. His lifelong commitment to public service will remain as an inspiration to us all. See news article.
We join thousands in remembering Jack Herrity, former Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors and longtime Republican activist, who passed away in February 2006. His dedication to community, zest for life and wise counsel will be missed by all who knew him. See notice, editorial and news article.
