The 11th District Congressional seat was held from 1995-2008 by Republican Tom Davis, who served also as chairman of the House Government Reform Committee (2003-06), chairman of the Republican National Campaign Committee (1997-2002), and chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors (1991-94). We appreciate Tom's service to the party, to Northern Virginia, and to the nation.

Democrat Gerry Connolly won the Congressional seat in 2008, following Davis' retirement. We look forward to working with Republican candidates to win back the seat in 2010.

The 11th Congressional District Republican Committee acts as a liaison between unit (city and county) Republican Committees and the state party. The District Committee also helps to support the election of Republican candidates for local, state and national office.
